Legal
Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you use the iMentiX website and courses.
1. Who we are & agreement
imentix.ai and its courses are operated by [iMentiX legal entity — to confirm]. By using the site or courses you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country to purchase or register.
2. The courses
iMentiX offers self-paced, online educational courses for general learning and professional development. They are independent educational materials and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any platform, company or trademark they discuss or teach about.
3. No guaranteed outcomes
The courses share methods, frameworks and examples. They do not guarantee any specific business, advertising, financial, employment or other result. Any figures or examples are illustrative; what you achieve depends on your own circumstances and effort.
4. Diplomas & certificates
On passing a course exam you can generate an iMentiX certificate of completion ("diploma"), produced in your browser, with a verification ID. It records that you completed an iMentiX course. It is not an accredited, government-recognised, or regulated qualification, degree or professional credential, and confers no formal accreditation or licensure. It does not certify employment readiness or guarantee any outcome.
5. Founding cohort, access & pricing
Where courses are offered free to a founding cohort, that access is limited and offered as described on the site at the time. Founding members keep the access described to them. We may set or change pricing and availability for future members and will state any changes clearly before they apply. [Confirm founding-cohort access terms and what "keep full access" means if courses later become paid.]
6. Payments, refunds & right of withdrawal
While a course is free, no payment or refund applies. If and when paid plans launch:
- EU/EEA consumers — 14-day withdrawal. You generally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content and get a refund. For digital content supplied immediately, this right ends once supply begins only if you gave prior express consent and acknowledged losing the right; we will ask for that consent at checkout. [Confirm checkout consent flow and refund mechanics with counsel.]
- Our refund policy. [State any voluntary refund window, e.g. 14-day money-back, and how to request it.]
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable period. Nothing here limits your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
7. Acceptable use & licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own learning and within your own organisation. You agree not to:
- resell, republish, redistribute or pass off the course content as your own;
- share paid access credentials, or scrape/bulk-download the content;
- misuse the site or attempt to disrupt or circumvent its security.
8. Intellectual property
The site and course content are owned by iMentiX or its licensors. Third-party names, logos and trademarks (including Meta, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others) belong to their respective owners and are used only for description and education.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The site and courses are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, iMentiX is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from their use. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
10. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by [governing law — to confirm], without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live. [Add dispute-resolution / venue and, for EU consumers, a link to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform if applicable.]
11. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page. Questions: [email protected].
